Common Sense Leadership.
As a small businessman, father, and husband who was raised and educated in Cumberland County, I believe that growing North Carolina’s middle class starts with strengthening public education.
I am fighting in Raleigh to reverse the cuts to our schools so we can raise teacher pay to the national average and keep the best teachers from leaving North Carolina.
I also understand that overcrowded classrooms and a shortage of textbooks hurts our kids and won’t rest until our schools and teachers have the resources they need to be successful.
I'm fighting to expand early childhood education and to eliminate harmful taxes on our middle class, making it just a little easier to raise a family here in North Carolina. I promise to always put hardworking families before special interests because I believe every North Carolinian deserves a fair shake, and that every opportunity starts with a quality education.
