Richardson Endorsed by NC League of Conservation Voters

Rep. William O. Richardson has been endorsed by the North Carolina League of Conservation Voters (NCLCV)

NCLCV credit Rep. Richardson with being the candidate in this race who they can rely on to stand up for North Carolina's proud conservation traditions. (Fayetteville, North Carolina) Representative William O. Richardson has been endorsed by the North Carolina League of Conservation Voters.

NCLCV advocates for sound environmental laws and policies. This endorsement reiterates that Representative Richardson is the best candidate the 44th district to stand up for the state's tradition of conservation. As a lifelong outdoorsman, who grew up appreciating the incredible natural beauty of North Carolina, Rep. Richardson will fight to preserve that beauty for future generations. After receiving this endorsement, Rep. Richardson is quoted as saying, "I am so blessed to live in North Carolina and North Carolina has been blessed from Bald Head Island to the Blue Ridge Mountains, ours is a beautiful state.

About Rep. William O. Richardson:

Representative Richardson was born in New Bern, NC and was raised and educated in Fayetteville, NC. He is a husband, father, and grandfather. As a businessman and attorney, Rep. Richardson started as an Assistant District Attorney for the 12th Judicial District in Cumberland County, and went on to become the founding partner of The Richardson Firm; he also is proud of providing highquality, carefully maintained residences in several apartment communities. Rep. Richardson served in the North Carolina House of Representatives from 1992 to 1997, and again from 2015 through the current session. As a leader in Cumberland County, Billy has served as the former President of the Education Foundation of Cumberland County, the former President and a current board member of the YMCA of the Sandhills, as well as the former Stewardship Chair for St. John's Episcopal Church.
